Faith Steps into Mission Fields: Life Changing Events

I was 53 years old when I took my first overseas mission trip, so you are never too old to begin your adventures with PaPa! This mission trip took me to the small village of Kipkaren, Kenya. I spent two weeks here and the people who call Kipkaren home completely stole my heart! Honestly, if I could have gone home, and packed up my husband and two daughters, I would have moved to Kipkaren in a heartbeat! I remember sitting quietly in the back of the van, crying all the way to Nairobi.

The Holy Spirit took us on a spiritual adventure in Israel and this was our first experience traveling around the world. In the next few years, He took me to Mexico, Kenya, Haiti, Cambodia, and Lebanon to share His heart with others. Each trip was unique and special in its own way. I can share that pieces of my heart were left with the people I met in each country.

I hope that sharing these adventures with you will spark a fire deep within your own heart to join a team and head out on your first mission trip.
