The Power of 'Yes!'

To my fearless daughter, Krista was the first one in our family to hear Jesus call her onto the mission field both locally and abroad. Before we knew it she was spending countless hours preparing for her initial trip abroad. Next, we were standing in the church parking lot hugging and kissing her in front of a large van that was taking the team to the airport. From the moment she started this adventure with the Holy Spirit, we knew that she was in His hands and safe. During this time, the Holy Spirit began talking to Steven, Brooks, and me about our own mission trip adventures to come. So THANK YOU, Krista, for being our teacher, example, and mentor for missions!

Without your "YES!" to Jesus, this book would never have been written, because there would not have been any short-term mission trips in my life.

Our lives have been deeply and powerfully changed and enriched through each one of our mission trips, all because of your "YES to Jesus! I love you more than all the stars in the sky! xoxo

Krista's "YES!" to Jesus changed every member of our family! I wish I could sit down and visit with you in person and share my heart. And to think… it all started with Krista's "YES!" to Jesus! I want to encourage you to say "Yes!" to Jesus anytime He asks you to do something. No matter how big or small the thing He is asking you to do, will have such a deep impact on your relationship with Him. You never know who the ripple effects of your "YES!" will impact!
