On June 3, 2025, the deepest trauma hit my heart like a tsunami. Weeks after this deep sadness flooded my heart, the Holy Spirit gave me this book title. Since that date, He has walked with me constantly, kissing my broken heart and wiping my tears. Our family has never experienced such a traumatic sadness, and as I speak on behalf of my family, I believe each would agree with me – the Holy Spirit has walked tenderly and thoughtfully with each of us as individuals. Healing us each step of the way in which only He could heal – completely healed in the Name of Jesus. This is what we are praising Jesus for, and I believe someday we will see it, and our family will be reunited. Until that day, I will praise Jesus for all that I don't see yet, because I trust Him.
I'm sharing this with you in an effort to encourage you as you walk towards complete healing. Jesus is our healer! Only Jesus can kiss your boo-boos away and heal what was broken. Only He can make beauty out of ashes:
Isaiah 61:3, TPT, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
As you begin to turn this page, please invite the Holy Spirit to guide you on this adventure. Allow this journal to allow you to sit with the Holy Spirit and receive your healing. Please don't allow the trauma you have experienced to define you. Instead, allow the Holy Spirit to give you a crown of beauty made out of the ashes from this sadness. Allow Him to heal you deeply, touching the places within your heart that need it the most. Ask Him to remove all ripple effects of this trauma and highlight His glory through your testimony.
